Lauren has always been passionate about helping others achieve their goals, and in giving nothing less than her best. This was first strengthened in college athletics, the love of working hard and helping others on and off the soccer field. She then pursued this in financial planning at Horizon Wealth Partners, helping people plan for their goals and their futures.
However, in 2022 and 2023 life took a few turns that she never expected. Her relationship became unhealthy, and as it worsened so did her mental health. She was forced to make a choice, and it ultimately ended with his suicide.
This painful experience has shifted her perspective completely. She will now stop at nothing to be an advocate for those in abusive relationships, those left in the wake of suicide, and those dealing with any sort of complicated hardship, trauma, or pain.
As a speaker, she strides to break down the barriers that divide people from being open about the ugly things that come with being human. With vulnerability comes authenticity. Lauren strives to challenge your perspective on pain, and what you do with it, as so much beauty can come from so much ugly.
She has a passion for helping and inspiring audiences with her keynotes. Her speeches are designed to educate, provide support, and motivate.
With a deep understanding of how things can go so wrong in so many different ways, she is absolutely here for you. Let's do all we can to prevent the worst, and let the rest make us better people.
Lauren is currently writing a book detailing her story. She has been told her life sounds like a movie, and not a good one, and felt that she had to get her story out there.
